By far the best pediatric dentist around
This is by far the best pediatric dentist around. My niece has been terrified of going to the dentist due to a prior visit that was traumatizing to her at a different place. She was so brave here and the whole staff took the time to make her visit enjoyable and make sure she was comfortable. All of my kiddos go here and always ask to go back again.

Great dentists, assistants, and staff
Great dentists, assistants and staff. Help walk you and your child through everything. They keep them distracted, happy, and calm. The trifecta of kids medical treatment. Great lobby with toys that are welcoming and great facility. They also have ♿️ handicap accessible parking, restrooms, and options for high stress or sensory children.

They Took things Really Slow Until She Felt Comfortable
The staff here is amazing! My daughter does not like going to the dentist, there are always tears involved. They were so patient with her and took things really slow until she felt comfortable. By the end of her cleaning they had her smiling and giggling :) They are amazing!! Highly recommend them!!

Excellent with my toddler
Dr. Spangler and her assistant were excellent with my toddler in his first ever visit. They kept him calm and relaxed throughout the cleaning. He’s looking forward to going again :)

Great experience for my daughter
"My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Gina Spangler since she was 18 months old. She is now 16 years old and still seeing Dr. Gina. She always has a bright smile and I am very happy I came across this dentist! The whole staff is great. They know how to take care of their patients. I would recommend this office for all of your kids' needs. 2 locations in Winston-Salem and Kernersville. Thanks for making this a great experience for my daughter."

"I could not have dreamed of a more supportive and fulfilling experience for my 3yos's first trip to the dentist. He was as uncooperative and challenging as expected, but the staff and Dr. Gail Rohlfing took it all in stride, soothing my anxiety and setting my son up for dental success in the future. My son left thinking that going to the dentist wasn't bad--that's a win in my eyes!!"

"Dr. Kate Lambert and staff are AMAZING!!!! It's like wrestling an alligator trying to brush my 2yo teeth. Dr. Kate is MAGIC! She was able to keep my daughter calm and cooperative. "Dr. Kelly Lipp was so patient with my daughter during her first dental appointment and she made it fun! I'm thankful so my daughter will still want to go as she gets older. Also, Kylie is the friendlist face you see when you walk in and out plus the helpful! I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my toddler's first appointment."

"They are patient, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and trustworthy. They actually listen to my parental concerns before discussing what care to take. My children love visiting the dentist now. And they will allow you back with your child because, unlike other pediatric practices we visited previously, they clearly have nothing to hide here. They were able to alleviate the fears and problems created by the previous dental practice. Spangler, Rohlfing & Lambert is the epitome of a professional practice! We travel from 35 miles away, and it is worth every mile."

Always evident they want what's best for your child
"We've been going to Happy Kids Smiles for over 4 years, and there reallys is no comparison to this office anywhere in Winston-Salem. My oldest had some issues as a result of another dentist, and Dr. Gina fixed it all ofr her and restored her confidence in dentists! At every visit, Dr. Gina is very honest, kind, and caring. It's always evident she wants to do what's best for your child. Additionally, the staff is very patient and professional, and I really appreciate that I can schedule all four my children at the same time! One of the best features is this office allows you to come back and sit with your child during treatment if you wish. That proves to me that they have nothing to hide and are confident in their abilities. We won't go anywhere else! Thank you Happy Kids Smiles for living up to your name."

Very thorough and knowledgeable
"Dr. Kate Lambert was incredible and answered every question we had about our 5 day old's tongue/lip tie. We had her revised and Dr. Lambert and her staff were so welcoming, concerned, and wanted us to follow with a team of our pediatrician, lactation consultant, and follow up with her a week later. Our little girl has healed beautifully and our latch is great! We are now almost back to birth weight. Very thorough and knowledgeable of breastfeeding moms/babies. I would recommend her to anyone in the area!"

Always clean and has a great play area for kids
"I love this office! It's always clean and has a great play area for the kids. Everyone is very patient with my typical 3 year old son. Jessica is so great with him! I've read past reviews that had issues with them filing insurance. I've yet to have an issue with this. Yes, you pay up front but it's 100% worth it. I usually get a check from my insurance within a week of the appointment so the turn around is very quick :). I highly recommend this office, doctors, and staff!"

"My daughter had her first dental appointment with Dr. Gail Rohlfing and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and tooth the time to explain each step of the process and what we should expect. Dr. Rohlfing was gentle and calmed my daughter's nerves with ease. “I never write online reviews but I must in this case. Dr. Kate and her team are absolutely wonderful. My four-year-old is excited to go to the dentist because of the way she is treated at this office. They truly go out of their way to make the whole process FUN, even while having cavities filled...who would have thought this was even possible? I would describe it as going to Disney World and having your teeth fixed at the same time.”

We wouldn't go anywhere else
"We absolutely love this office!! We wouldn't go anywhere else now that we've had this incredible pediatric experience. The staff are all os pleasant and they definitely are trained in working with children. The office is fun and youthful and we especially love our hygienist Paige. We now specifically ask for her when we book our appointments. You definitely cannot go wrong. I am writing this review after nearly two years of being patients there and we feel the same way today as we did on day one!!"

My daughter loves going to the dentist
"Dr. Gina and the entire staff are simply amazing! Their office is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they make each child feel so at ease in a potentially scary situation. My oldest daughter LOVES going to the dentist and just seems to have the best time learning about her teeth, getting them cleaned, picking out a new toothbrush and a prize and chatting with all the friendly staff. I also have a daughter with special needs, and the tought of getting her teeth cleaned has terrifeid me for a long time. Dr. Gina and her staff are SO patient, kind, and attentive to our needs. They make me so comfortable and that translates to a clamer, more cooperative child who senses that I trust those who are caring for her. I cannot say enough positive things about our experiences at this office. We are so grateful for their truly oustanding patient care!"

The best dental appointment my son ever had
"My son recently saw Dr. Kelly Lipp for a filling and she was FANTASTIC!!!! He was very nervous going into the procedure and she was so calm, understanding, and patient. She explained everything to him, and it really put his mind at ease. Whe we left he said it was the best dental appointment he ever had. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. Ask for Dr. Lipp she is excellent!"

The front desk staff is really nice and helpful
“Went with my two-year-old today for her first dental visit. It was actually fun for both of us! The waiting room was kid friendly with little clubhouse with great books and toys. The front desk staff was really nice and helpful. The whole practice has a special way with kids. Within a few moments, my daughter was laying on the table under the light with her mouth open. She even let them use a dental tool to check her teeth. I was impressed with their knowledge and we will definitely go back!”

Wonderful office
"We love Dr. Kate Lambert! The office is usually quick with the visits and patient with the kids. I've had to call the after-hours number a few times and we always received quick calls back and follow ups after the calls. Wonderful office!"

Now our dentist of choice
"Thanks to the incredible care of Dr. Kelly Lipp, the damage caused by a collision at a trampoline park will be minimal for my 14yo son. After being told at the ER that there was nothing they could do for my son's visibly damaged teeth, Dr. Lipp met us at the office late on Saturday night. They then provided excellent physical and emotional care to both me and my son. A couple of days later, my son's orthodontist commented that Dr. Lipp did a perfect job splinting the tooth. Dr. Lipp is now our dentist of choice and we are extremely grateful to her."

Quickly reassured me with what to expect
"My four year old daughter bumped her mouth very hard and had a loose front tooth which turned light grey about a week later. I took her for an evaluation with Dr. Gail Rohlfing. I was offered an appoinment the next morning. The staff was very polite and professional and Dr. Rohlfing quickly reassured me and share me what to expect in the coming months with the tooth. Terrific office and great business! They are always ready to help with whatever is needed."

"My 6 year old needed fillings, unfortunately, and he is terrified of the actual procedure. Dr. Gail Rohlfing, Dr. Gina Spangler, and Amy were above and beyond the most patient and experienced people I have ever met and worked quickly. I couldn't be more pleased
"I took my 22-month-old son here for his first dental visit, and I couldn't be more pleased. The entire staff was extremely kind, and the environment is ideal for small children. There are plenty of activities in the waiting area to keep your kids occupied. They even have a large touch screen video game for older kids. The methods they use to keep toddlers calm during the exam are very effective. They even gave him a ball the keep! The dentist, Dr. Kate Lambert, has a great personality and she defniitely belongs in pediatric dentistry! My son was very comfortable with her. She was very gentle with him yet she completed the exam quickly! We will definitely be bacvk, and I highly recommend this place."
